  • Title: THE LAST TUESDAY SOCIETY
Descriptive info: HISTORY.. Hendrick's Quarterly Seance.. Loss.. Hendrick's Lecture Series.. An Evening of Phantasmagoria.. The Balls.. A List of Past Events.. Philosophy in the Bedroom.. Viktor Wynd.. Suzette Field.. what did the onion juice do? It did what the world and the sorrows of the world could not do: it brought forth a round, human tear.. It made them cry.. At last they were able to cry again.. To cry properly, without restraint, to cry like mad.. The tears flowed and washed everything away.. The rain came.. The dew.. Oskar has a vision of floodgates opening.. Of dams bursting in the spring floods.. Gunter Grass.. When the leaves begin to turn and our faces match the summer rain, and our romances turn to doom, Loss will return to darken our nights.. that said Mr.. Wynd isn t feeling sad at the moment so he is postponing all Losses until the 14th February 2010 (unless any suitable venue can be found).. Loss is London s saddest night, a place for the miserable, the pathetic, the beautiful, the dying and the divorced to come and console themselves, and indeed Viktor Wynd, always mourning a lost love affair at what Rai1 describes as the Prima Crying Club d Europa.. It  ...   found, bury that loose fitting 1950s suit in the garden for a few months in seach of defining London s most enforced dress code - Decaying Beauty.. When patrons wish to escap the tears and melancholia induced by onions and buckets full of Hendrick s Gin they dance the night away to London s best djs - whether it is Cibelle, Dickon Edwards, Penny Metal, The Broken Hearts or a host of others, all spinning the most depressing tunes.. Over the past few years Loss has become an institution, and been featured in the world s media: ABC News, Arte, Chanel 4, Rai1, NPR, Loose Women, The Breakfast Show, Richard and Judy have all been there.. Publications as diverse as Jalouse, The Sun, English, French Japenese Vogue, Time Out, The Financial Times, Marie-Clare, Grazia, The Times, The Daily Mail, The Independent, and far more than we could ever hope to keep count of have all featured us.. so come.. - just one more time,.. let me cry with you,.. let me in where it s beating,.. i want to shake and i want to dance,.. for this is your pain and and not mine and.. my way of saying.. I am Free.. I am Free..
