Haven discussed the Ecosan Latrine Approach with community members.. An ecosan latrine is basically a  ...   for agriculture, which is highly useful for Haitian farmers.. Ecosan latrines also reduce the risk of hazardous material contaminating groundwater.. The meeting was very interactive, with a lively question and answer session.. Similar to Haven's recent community meeting in Morneville, Gressier, another ecosan sensitisation meeting took place in February in the village of Nordiesse, Leogane.. Haven unveiled their mini model of an ecosan which facilitated understanding of the approach and how it functions..
